Daily Essentials as an Illustrator - Lauren (Cape Town)

This is the second week of our guest blog series to compare other parts of the world while Charlotte is visiting Canada for August & September. Our guests this week are Tanya from Montreal and Lauren from Cape Town. 

Lauren on her Essentials:
I mainly illustrate in pencil (clutch or traditional kind) then I use black fineliner (0.4 or 0.5) for inking and then I scan. Sometimes I use Japanese Sumi ink for colouring in and just general messing around.
